There is a feature about the safety measures around the Olympic Games on TV now. Man am I glad I don’t live anywhere near there! How can the Games be fun when there is a warschip going back and forth on the Thames?
There are also anti aircraft missiles on top of various residential blocks of flats in East London.
Did they mention the fact that the company who were contracted to provide security for the olympics completely failed to get enough staff trained to deal with it so the police and army had to be called in to help?

Still, not a smart move by Romney, criticizing the way the security around the games is organized. He scored a lot of minus points with that.

Did someone mention me??? 
My city appears briefly in a Nike commercial along with many other Londons around the world (London, Canada shows up at 0:24 for about 5 seconds). I was only a few blocks away when the TV spot was filmed last month but didn’t get to see any of the shooting (yes, the marathon is staged 
).
